A Little Bit About Me
Have you ever felt a surge of energy when you meet complete strangers, sometimes just randomly, hear their stories, get to know them, end up sharing a meal with them, and over the years develop a friendship, a bond that strengthens as the years pass? It may not be everyone?s cup of tea, but I?m the guy who will strike up a random conversation with a complete stranger at an airport, and - fast forward a year or two - they are sitting across the dinner table from me and my family as if they have always been a part of the family.
I truly believe that the greatest gift I?ve been given are the people in my life. My wonderful family, my amazing circle of friends, which continues to expand, all of whom make the journey of life even sweeter and more exciting. They teach me invaluable lessons, and inspire me to improve, to give, to learn, and to embrace the vicissitudes of life.
The city that I live in, and the country that I live for that matter, are also gifts I cherish. Having immigrated to this country, starting my life from scratch, I consistently remind myself not to take the opportunity I?ve been given for granted. Although I?ve traveled across the globe and have had the pleasure of exploring a lot of different countries and cities, there is no other place that I would choose to call home than San Francisco: the people - diverse, intellectual, benevolent; the colorful and eclectic neighborhoods which I love to trek across and explore. It never ceases to amaze me that, having lived here for more than four years, I continue to stumble across awesome new discoveries: a delectable restaurant, a hole in the wall record shop, or a lounge with live music that keeps us dancing for hours. And then there is the sublime scenery that pervades each corner of the city, from the bustling District during a typical workday, to the breathtaking views of the bay and GG Bridge at Crissy Fields, to awesome city views at Mission Dolores and Twin Peaks, and the breakers at Ocean Beach.
I am gainfully employed as a sales and business development director at a public enterprise software company where I?ve worked at for the last four years. I love my job, although like any other job it has its stressful moments. The people with whom I work are more than just colleagues. Even if I wasn?t working with them, we?d still be kickin? it as friends. Another cool perk is getting to travel across the country and at times overseas, which suites my personality. I am not the type of person that could sit behind a desk from 9-5. If I?m not meeting and greeting people in person, I am not a happy camper.
In addition to the day job, I volunteer my time at a couple of non-profit organizations. My goal is to eventually dedicate a larger portion of my time to charitable causes.

What I Am Looking For
I'm looking for someone to share my life with, someone who shares a similar zest for life and sense of adventure, someone who has a great sense of humor, and realizes that at the end of it all it's not the material wealth amassed that brings peace and fulfillment to our lives but the positive impact we've had on other lives.
